I have used this company on two occasions.Once when my Daughter was not very well.The fruit Baskets arrived and they were beautiful.Wrapping was perfect and the fruit as fresh as paint!!.My daughter was thrilled with the contents each time.The fruit had been chosen some just ready treat and others ripening and ready when the first lot were consumed.I am sad to see the bad reviews this company is getting.Believe me we were delighted with everything.

I placed my orders between Christmas and New Year!
It was at a time when all the other companies announced that they would reopen after January 11, 2021, only!
The recipients were our business partners and my new friends south part of the UK, and all orders were delivered between January 5 and 7, which turned out to be quite acceptable to us.
I have got 4 absolutely rave reviews from addressees! It was obvious that the company was very overloaded, but they carefully answer every question, and where they thought they were delaying the order (mainly due to quarantine restrictions), they added additional fruits.
From my own experience, the company employs kind, responsible, and very committed people.
I wish them health, success, and success in 2021 in their beautiful business, which brings joy and a good mood!
I can sincerely recommend this company without any doubt!

I too wish I had read the reviews before ordering!
Not happy with the delivery I sent to my parents, tried emailing 4 times!!! No response.
Rotting bananas and fruit added that I had specifically asked them not to include and 10 of them as well!! Also included potatoes in a fruit basket. Gave them chance to put it right but ignored emails, so sorry, poor review.

Wish I had read reviews. The fruit basket my poorly friend received was nothing like the one advertised. A cheap basket of rotting fruit.? Tried to get my money back but they just ignore. Absolutely worst company ever ordered from. Stay clear !!

I placed an order for a basket to be sent to my father in laws for Christmas in Wales for December 24th. After numerous calls and emails to fruit galore, their response was the same. "It was delivered on the 24th". Turns out it was delivered. Delivered to the wrong address. A neighbour brought it to my father in laws house on the 29th. By this time, everything was rotted. I asked for a refund from Johnnie and he said he would get back to me. Let's see what happens. What a terrible experience. I will NEVER use them again

Do not use this company. Received a fruit basket for my birthday and saw that there were several fruits that were rotten. Called immediately to notify company. They asked for pic which I sent then offered a £10 refund after having charged the poor sender approx £50! They said the cheese and wine were fine so this was justified. The cheese and wine they sent were £2 each at retail value! The overall basket clearly was not up to scratch and I told them that it wasn't acceptable for sender to have paid for such a bad gift when clearly they trusted this company to deliver a premium product. NO REPLY FROM COMPANY. Called to follow up on behalf of sender and spoke to the most awful man who insisted that I was wrong and spoke over me repeatedly saying he can't be bothered about the 1 complaint from me when he is running his business. Yeah right! With his attitude and products I'd be really surprised if most people were happy with this company! He finally said I could have a full replacement basket or nothing so I needed to decide. Obviously accepted this as he wasn't prepared to refund the sender as he should have done. Got replacement basket today with half the portion of fruit in it even though he offered to replace full basket. Called him to tell him this and he unceremoniously told me that he can't be bothered dealing with me anymore (with what sounded like his wife in the background telling him what to say) and hung up!! How can companies like this get away with being so disrespectful to customers when they have been sent an inferior product!! Do not use this company if you want to send anyone a gift. The person receiving it will not be thankful when they receive rotten fruit and have to deal with the most unpleasant man in the fruit basket business!

Fantastic quality! I noticed that the website seemed to be 'under new management' so maybe this is the reason for previous reviews I am reading here. I had sent a 'Get Well' Fruit Basket to a friend who was recovering from surgery at Royal Liverpool Hospital and Fruit Galore UK went out of their way to contact the hospital and find out his ward number! Great customer service, would recommend!

After read some of these reviews I have been shocked and surprised. Having purchased the 'Simply Delicious Fruit and Gourmet' hamper as a present for my Mum's 60th I have to say I was delighted with the prompt delivery and according to my Mother the high quality of the basket and fruit inside. A confirmation email was send immediately after order and I was allowed to request a date and add a gift card!
Will most certainly be using again, great idea and great concept!

I too wish I had looked at the reviews before using this company.
I ordered a basket of fruit for a friend who was in hospital as I do not live in the uk.
I paid for next day delivery. It has not been delivered, this was in August. I have been in contact with the company on a number of occasions with promises to deliver to her home address.
I have asked for a refund and am still waiting for a response.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I wish i had seen these reviews before ordering the fruit basket, i ordered the caribbean twist basket, it was supposed to be a company competition prize. The basket didnt arrive on the scheduled date as advised and the state of the basket was disgusting. The fruit was mouldy, brusied and squashed, i couldnt give this to anyone let alone give it away its embarresing.
Ive tried on numberous occassions to call the company, the phone is always convientently engaged and once closing hours come its back to ringing tone, but always straight to answering machine. Ive left numerous email messgaes with photographic evidence of the state of the basket and still no response. There website states someone would contact you within 3 hours. Its been 4 days and still no reponse from them or a refund! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They are a shame and im reporting them to consumer rights!

i ordered a fruit basket to be delivered to my dad for fathers day as i live too far away to see him. what a joke, £25.98 for 1 pineapple, 1 green apple, 1 red apple, 1 mango, 1 grapefruit, 1 orange and wait for this, 1 grape, that's right folks one single grape. i am totally embarrassed to have sent this to my dad.

I ordered a fruit basket from this company and paid extra for next day delivery. My order didnt arrive the next day and so I cancelled the order and they did give me a full refund. It was very disappointing to be let down with the delivery dates. They still delivered the item (almost a week late) as well as giving me a refund, but it was nothing like the image displayed on the website. I definately wont be using this company again!

I ordered a fruit basket for my father's birthday. I rang my parents and my mother said it arrived with no problems but from what I could make out, she described the grapes as old looking (thinks she meant bruised looking). My father was too polite to tell me the truth but fortunately, my mother was quite frank with the description of the fruit. I was very annoyed to hear this as the fruit baskets are not cheap. An online complaint has just been sent to them about this requesting them to look into this. I wrote that I wasn't looking to a refund but that they should do something for my father to make up this disappontment. Will be interested to see their response to my complaint. If they do not do anything as a gesture of goodwill, then I will certainly not be using this company again.

After placing an order with special delivery to make sure it would arrive at a certain date, fruits galore ensured everything would be delivered on time. Three months later I'm still waiting for my goods and/or a reply to my many emails.
Definitely not a recommended website!

We didn't received our fruit hamper too. I urge everyone to report to trading standards if a similar thing happens to you, if there are enough complaints trading standards will investigate them.

Do not order from this company...they never deliverd the fruit hamper I ordered for my aunt's birthday...after waiting a week for the hamper it still didnt show, after asking for a refund all i got was a confirmation email of a refund but no refund...I am still waiting for it...disgusting.

Never order from this company! I order a specific fruit basket for my Dad's birthday plus paid extra for a fruit cake as that is his special "treat" for himself occasionally. The fruit basket was not as advertised and they substituted the fruit cake for dates! Very disappointing and still awaiting a response from them, no apology, no refund. Order with another company as they only deliver what they want to deliver after taking your money!

I ordered 2 fruit baskets and they did not arrive. I had to call to check whether my baskets would be delivered as it was approaching 4pm and there had been no delivery. During this phone call I was informed that the delivery would definitely take place before 5pm. 6pm comes and goes and still nothing, so I email again. At 9pm, 3 hours later I get an email saying its the courier that have messed up the delivery. Absolutely poor and utterly rubbish communication I was given by this disgraceful company. I was chasing up the delivery, I was the one emailing and calling you up and being lied to about the delivery. I would like to know what exactly happened to my delivery and why. I have been in contact with the couriers who informed me that they did not receive the baskets in time to be delivered therefore it is absolutely and completely fruitgalore's mistake.

My basket never arrived on Valentine's day, it hadn't been upgraded and the fruit was bruised. I had an email response saying it had been delivered now and my emails ignored. I wouldn't buy from this company again : (

Would not order from this company again. I ordered a Caribbean fruit basket for my friend but fortunately I had it delivered to my house as she was out on the day. When it arrived it It was nothing like the advertised basket, and also I had paid £12.00 extra for an upgrade. When it arrived it had not been upgraded. I rang Fruit Galore and the girl who answered said she knew she hadnt upgraded it - it was a mistake and would credit my account with the £12.00. Several phone calls and several emails which they ignored, I did not get my money refunded. I would definitely not recommend this company at all. If it had been delivered direct to my friends house, I would have been none wiser. Do not buy from this company!

They did not deliver our baskets and are impossible to deal with to try and get a refund - never again.

I am based in the middle east and every time I call, the same woman acts as if its the first time she has spoken to me. We have been promised a refund, but nothing.
