I have been a part of large forums that give you incentives to talk in the forum's etc. GottaTalkPoker does that as well, however the people that are apart of this community would talk to each other whether or not they were getting anything for it. I have met (well talked online) to some great poker players. I would bet that if GottaTalkPoker put its best players up against any other forum in a Series of tournaments they would take it down easily.
The Founder of the forum does a great job of giving everyone an opportunity to voice their opinion and by far they are the only FOUNDER that I have seen that on a daily basis will talk to the community. I have a friend on a larger poker forum that says there is a thread just for the Moderators because they can never get tournaments scored, standings updated, prizes cashed in etc. This does not happen on GottaTalkPoker!
Lastly, I the amount of variety of games that the site hosts are amazing. I being a NLHE SNG and MTT player only have developed my Omaha, Razz, and 7-Card game much better and I only have to thank GottaTalkPokear. My advancement in the games has me sitting down at the micro cash tables and being able to win consistently.
If you don't care about tournaments, chances of improving your game, or cash prizes....come to this forum just for the people! Hands down best site I have ever been apart of.

A time existed when hundreds of poker forums dotted the online poker landscape. Most after Black Friday and the concomitant loss of poker site support shrivelled and died faster than a ripe grape lying in an Las Vegas summer sun. A few, lead by the imaginative, the enterprising, and the innovative survived. Of these Gotta Talk Poker for its diversity of games, its commitment to members, the promotion of poker in a highly competitive but friendly environment, emerged as the place to play if you want to improve all your poker games.
This is the only US friendly forum where you can practise and play virtually every poker game available on the net - not just Holdem and Omaha. This is the site that offers new members a free tournament ticket to help them get started, and another one for making fifty posts ( there is no requirement to do so, but an incentive to participate). And of course from time ot time freerolls.
With no posting requirements, no need to jump through hoops, collect points, satisfy some committed on the quality of you post, or join groups simply to play in tournaments, GTP keeps it simple - want to play in a tournament - simply join the forum and pay the tournaments fee.
To make it interesting there is the Leaderborad race, and at certain times of the year other special tournaments. The site offers contest and quizzes and a host of other ways to win cash and free tournaments tickets.
But more than all this, this is a forum that is evolving - with new ideas incorporated regularly to keep it fresh, interesting and responsive to the needs of its members. You want a place you can call your home for poker - this is it. We are a growing family and always have room for one more.

You would not believe how fantastic the Gottatalkpoker.com site is. Great ways to gain entry into poker tournaments. Great people, great fun. Fast response to your questions, lots of poker strategy info, including analyzing your past history hands to help you play better poker...it's all there, in one great package at this superior poker forum..You must join and see for yourself! It is true that GTP is the only poker forum you will ever need!

Gotta Talk Poker is by far the best poker forum I have ever been a part of.
Excellent customer service, friendly, and quick to respond to questions, issues, etc.
And the best part: They offer every form of tournament poker out there. I don't know of any other forum that does this.
If you are ever going to try out one of the many poker forums out there to choose from, I highly recommend trying Gotta Talk Poker first!

i been a member for several years and the folks are great and helpful people,if you like to play poker gottatalkpoker is the place to play,the buyins are reasonable and the action is tuff,plus with the new changes gtp offers yu sevral ways to earn a ticket to play,plus great freerolls

Love being part of Gotta talk poker community for many reasons. Its a very friendly bunch more like a family than just a meeting place. I love the fact that there is a huge variety of games I never played or thought I would play. And you actually get paid to be involved!! How cool is that? Also you have any topic you want to talk about not just poker you can express yourself without judgement!Stop by and take a look you will be glad you did!

1. I play poker to make money. I will be a member of any forum that offers me a chance to make money. This forum does so.
2. I am not a fan of NLHE. This forum gives me the chance to play the games I like. That would be stud and razz and HORSE.
3. This is a social forum. It is nice to play with friendly players.
