I received my initial bill from this company on 2/5/24. They claim that my insurance company never paid. I contacted my insurance company and they stated they never received a bill from this processor. Looking at the statement more closely, I realized they had made a mistake regarding my insurance company. I started trying to contact peryourhealth via their phone number and website starting February 21, 2024. I have since tried every week since that time and continually get a message that their systems have been hacked and their phone and websites are down. I’ve even gone so far as to contact the hospital and doctors who performed the procedure. They advised me that they have been having issues with this medical billing company as well.

I tried paying my bill over the phone, got an error, so tried to pay on the website peryourhealth.com It showed I made an error in the amount paid. I got a phone call right after stating they were per your health and they were going to help fix the error. It was a very long involved call, transferring me to several people, I was asked to download an app for my phone to help with assistance. Was insistent I needed to use a desktop or laptop (I have an iPhone and iPad only) after going back and forth and another error in the refund amount, they said I needed to send a $30 payment for making the mistake and it started escalating and was yelling at me, saying I needed to use Venmo or western union, I said I was not going to do that and I would call my bank to straighten it out, he got very upset, so at that point I was sure it was a scam and I hung up. Nothing was ever debited on my card. So I guess the scam was to get me flustered and send the $30 to fix “my” error. Horrible!

Company says I owe yet never sent me a bill. They were trying to submit claim from where I got a covid test in March 2021 with old insurance information. Funny enough tho, CVS submitted their portion of the claim with the valid insurance information and the claim is showing closed on their side. Apparently, they have re-submitted the claim multiple times instead of going back to CVS and asking them to send valid information.

After spending many hours on the phone talking to my insurance company, then CVS, then Change Health Care which handles the billing for Helix OPCO, LLC... I'm over it all. I gave them the correct Subscriber ID. The incompetence is astounding though.

I paid 15 separate imaging bills on this site last November. Actually called and paid over the phone because login was suspect. I keep getting re-billed for all of them. When I call (if I get through) they tell me that I still owe. I even have email receipts from them for each one. This has been a nightmare!

I received a fake bill in the mail for $32 for bloodwork two months ago. It was VERY convincing! It had my name, my current address, my doctor's name, and all the line items of the blood work, holy cow! Always watch out for verbiage with urgency and threat of collections. The due date said "Upon Receipt." Don't pay it, I'm sure they'll steal your credit card info.

When I started reading the directions on how to register, I knew right away it was a scam. You can tell by the way the English is written. Always, always read before you do anything. Even if you’ve been on the site before. You never know when a sites been hijacked.

I've been using this site for quite some time now. I don't know what everyone's problem is, but I've never had any false claims submitted or billed. Just enter the account info and the invoice looks the same a the one I got in the mail. I find this site totally legit and easy to use.

Received a bill from PYH, listing the medical services I had done, while receiving a bill from the medical provider in a different amount. However, both online and over the phone, my account couldn't be found due to the "wrong birth date." When the telephone representative couldn't find me but started asking other questions, I hung up and checked this website. Contacted my provider, they don't use FYP. Pretty sure this is a scam.

I had a similar experience as the last 2 posts with this site. They also tried to tell me my computer was infected and my identity as being used to open 5 Amazon/bank accounts. They told me it was urgent that I go buy security blocking cards so they could disable the accounts that the hackers made. Security blocking cards, really??!!. I immediately unplugged my computer and took it to Best Buy for service. Changed all of my banking info as they had the first and last 4 numbers of my debit card. I reported this to my health provider's billing department. Whatever you do, do not access this site, Avast security on my tablet tells me that malware has been detected and reported on this site.

I have used this site to pay bills and their address is bookmarked in my computer. A few days ago, I attempted to use this site and the first two pages went as usual. Then a message popped up that I had made an error and needed to call a number that was given. I did call the number and based on what happened next, someone had hacked into this site and tried to get me to send money "to correct the error."

Very Bad Company. I've been on the phone trying to get a hold of them many times and for many hours. They tell you that they'll be right with you after an hour they say there is nobody to be with you and they hang up on you. They say I owe them $5 which I do not. The hospital corrected the error and apparently didn't let these people know but you cannot contact them to let them know that it has been corrected. Terrible company

1star.
The ridiculous way one has to put your birth date in is time consuming and just extra steps.
It could be a fast, efficient way to pay online, but not worth the time. Why one can’t just type in our birth date is beyond me.

I can't access the website using www.peryourhealth.com. There is no website just a page that requires your account number. When I type in the account number I get a message that I am unauthorized to use the site. So I called the number on the bill. What a joke! After following the prompts it asked for me to speak my alpha-numeric account number after the tone. Instead of a tome, the message repeats, still no tone, then a chopped up message about press one. You press one and it gets disconnected. Oh and to pay by phone via credit card...the 800 on the bill is disconnected. This site needs to be investigated because it has to be fraud. Those that say they can pay their bills no problem, I wonder if they are running the site and collecting peoples payments for their benefit. I would rate this site NEGATIVE 5

My first time connecting to Peryourhealth I clicked on a link which took me to an unprofessional looking site written in poor English. The address appeared to be www-peryourhealth.com. Yes, a dash where a dot should have been. I then typed in www.peryourhealth.com and reached a legitimate site and was able to view my balance quickly and easily (I had a credit). WATCH OUT FOR THE SCAM SITE! THERE IS A LEGITIMATE ONE!

Their website simply doesn't work. Initial bill claimed I had no insurance, so I tried to add my health insurance info online. After 3 failed attempts, I called and customer service rep said their website was known to have this problem accepting insurance info. Rep took all my info over the phone and said it was all in their system now. But it wasn't. I continued to receive bills stating I had no insurance so I was responsible for the entire amount. My next step is to contact State Insurance Commissioner and let them know about this fraudulent company!

I had to navigate into this site 3 or 4 times before getting my bill paid. It is not user friendly at all. I entered my birthdate and it said it was NOT the correct format. I used a usual format for birthdates; only problem - it didn't tell you the format to use but said it was incorrect. It asked for my ID. It did not say to use the account number as the ID. Not everyone will necessarily guess that until you can't get in. You need to do better.

Not sure what the problems are. Paid my bill just now in about 30 seconds. Couldn't be easier. I read these reviews first and was worried. But I then went to my health insurance website to confirm the amount owed. It was less than $20 and matched exactly with the bill I received. The Account # matched up to the actual service site - totally legit. I typed in my DOB, entered payment and was done.

I didn't have to call anyone. The $$ owed was consistent with my claim history. They provided an email receipt. Done.

Received a bill for doctor's services that my insurance won't cover, even after appeal. I've tried calling the number for the billing department that's on my statement, and it seems like I'm getting connected to someone, but then no one answers... Finally got into the website (doesn't work on phones) and sent a message, but I'm not optimistic that I'll get a response, so I'll probably have to pay $315 because some doctor called the EMTs during my daughter's ambulance ride and needs to be compensated for his phone call.

They say they filed an insurance claim on my behalf, but apparently sent it to the wrong address. 1 year later I received a debt collection letter saying I owed peryourhealth the whole amount. They made no effort to contact me to collect the payment directly. If they had, I would have given them the correct address for the insurance company. They have my correct address, phone number and email address. But, sadly they did not try to contact me even though they say they sent statements and phonemail messages. I never received anything until the collection letter.

I tried to pay my lousy $15.00 copay on line. To say that their website is a joke insults all jokes. To use the quick pay you must choose your DOB from a drop-down menu that begins with the present date (in this case 12/14/2021--I was born in 1935--good luck with that). To pay via full access you must give the access code but how do you give that if NONE is provided. How a reputable hospital such as Mount Sinai can use this organization with such cheesy website is beyond me. Reading some of the complaints about Per Your Health makes me wonder just how legitimate they are.

Just like everyone else's experience... Try not to visit any physician under this ridiculous group. They charge for balances that insurance has actually already paid. Even to a patient that has multiple insurances and shouldn't be paying ANYTHING. They do not return emails, phone calls, anything. Still bill AFTER insurance contacts them and confirms payment has been received. There will be a lawyer involved soon if they don't get their act together.

peryourhealth is an abominable company. Hired by unscrupulous doctors it causes hardship and distress to those patients who had the misfortune to be treated by those doctors such as Sandhills Emergency Physicians in Moore Regional Hospital. A doctor sees the patient for less than 5 minutes, charges the insurance $893.00, insurance pays it's share, and explains clearly in the EOB (explanation of benefits) what's the patient's responsible for. However, the company, peryourhealth, hired by the physicians mentioned above, "mistakenly", charged me for the amount unpaid by the insurance. I contacted the insurance and I was told that with my plan I owe nothing to the Sandhiils Emergency Physician, everything is clarified in the EOB, and the billing company can directly contact the insurance for verification. I contacted peryourhealth, informed about their error, and instead of nullify their charges immediately (as it is done in other doctor's offices) they put on hold the bill for 30 days.I was told to contact them within 5 to 10 business days to see if they have clarified the mistake. It may even take longer. In my 60 years of life I never had to wait that long for adjustments of doctors bills. These companies supported by unscrupulous doctors exist to destroy people. They should be terminated, or adjust the mistakes immediately.

I ask for a review of a bill and they complied. I had 2 identical charges for the same day. I was told it would take 45 days to review! That’s ludicrous!

I also sent an email 2 weeks ago, still no reply.

The PerYourHealth billing service has billed me twice for the same procedure! It was paid on 6/11/2018.  Check  number #0149140634 was sent to the proper address. I received the second bill on 7/16/2018.  I called PerYourHealth’s customer service line (1 866-744-1452) and talked with a very rude and incompetent representative.  According to her there was no record of the payment I had sent. I have continually received these duplicate bills for 3 months. Since the bill was only $55, I have given up and sent the duplicate payment. If I still receive duplicate bills I will pursue PerYourHealth legally and demand a full refund plus damages.

WOMEN !!! This company bills yearly routine screening mammograms with a code of 77063 in addition to the regular screening code. Many if not all insurance companies will not cover this code as part of the screening. When asked for the codes used in billing your insurance company, they will tell you that they cannot give out the codes used to bill your insurance. This is ridiculous as they are using the 77063 incorrectly as an add on code to make more $$$. Please don't fall for this bogus billing trick-If you do in fact, have a
specific diagnosis or abnormality then it is possible that your insurance company may cover this. Please check your billing for routine mammogram
screenings.

This firm is AWFUL. they have owed me a refund for an over payment for 5 months! I have called 20 times. One time it is under research. Next time it has been sent to finance for payment. Next time it was sent BACK to research. the whole problem started when they submitted to the WRONG insurance company in the first place. Managers do NOT return voicemail messages. they refuse to honor discounts they agreed to with the insurance companies until YOU, the patient, PROVE to them that you, the patient, does not owe that money.

I am telling all my doctors, hospitals and insurance company about how awful this firm is and they should choose another provider.

Bad website, put in my correct account number and it does not work. It says use your registered ID as an alternative, but does not have a registration venue. The company that uses them for billing purposes does not have the account number to give!!!!??? in order to resolve the issue. So I cannot see my bill nor can I pay it! the company that uses peryourhealth.com does not send out emails either. OMG

I've called 3 times. Second time I called waited for 10 minutes with no response, hung up after 10 minutes. Third time called on Friday afternoon, told they were closed for the holiday. The holiday, Labor Day is not until next week what's wrong with this place if you want your money try answering the phone.

Received a bill for approx. $250 and the responsible party IS MY MINOR CHILD! It was also supposedly sent to an insurance company with whom we haven't had insurance for MANY, MANY YEARS!!! Also on the back of the page in small letters, it says: IF YOU WISH TO DISCUSS YOUR BILL, OR ARRANGE A PAYMENT PLAN, PLEASE CONTACT US AT THE PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR STEMENT...YES, THEY MISSPELLED STATEMENT!!! WOW!!!

I'm receiving bills from this company. So I was checking my EOB's and discovered that they were billing me for the plan discount. For example on 05/02/17 I had a chest x-ray done. The charge was $30. The insurance paid $25.50. The plan discount was $4.50. According to the EOB my responsibility was $0.00. I then get a bill from Portsmouth Radiological. They billed me for the $4.50. I've received three bills from them. I went through it line by line checking it against the EOB's. They did this for every single procedure. Isn't this insurance fraud?

I would give zero stars if I could.
I got a bill from this company for a CT scan I was having for diagnosic purposes. I verified with my insurance company if the procedure was covered prior to having it. Yet I still got a bill in the mail for an outrageous amount. I called my insurance company, they stated it was denied due to a billing mismatch, they were billed for a routine CT scan not for diagnostic reasons.
I called McKesson, they stated they would rebill it because #1 they had my insurance information in the system wrong, #2 it was billed incorrectly. Fast forward 4 weeks, another bill in the mail for the same amount. Called insurance (billing mismatch again) I called McKesson, they said they would need my dr to refile with correct codes, I dont have my prescription anymore but it did have Diagnostic written on it. DR states to call McKesson as they dont handle billing. DR finally agreed to call the Billing company and call me back. That was Friday, no response as of yet.

CLAILM 558315 xray taken at Arcadia hospital for $146.00
this claim was paid on June 12/17 however they put it in for collection xray was done on 1/04/17.
It would be nice if they checked their records before putting a bill in for collection.

These reviews are very informative. I was referred by the VA according to the company and received a bill for an X-ray for $36 dollars. The funny thing is I had x-rays X2 last year and the charge was over $400. Methinks that this is a scam and I will take a wait and see attitude to see just how far they will go to get $36 from me. Thanks to everyone for this input. I am giving this thread five stars for the info provided by all the commenters.

I agree. After reading all this, considering wrong amounts, misspelling....it has to be a scam. I am glad I looked here first. Was about to pay them, but the name struck me as weird. Also, the clinics I've dealt with use a different agent for collection services.

SOME THIRD-PARTIES HAVE SOME B@LLS; SO RECEIVED SOME SADLY DOC'D UP DOCUMENT FROM NYU LANGONE MEDICAL OR SO IT STATES, BUT ACTUALLY FROM "PERYOURHEALTH" (WHO THE H3LL IS THIS)?
WENT TO SITE REGISTERED.....AND THERE I WAS. AFTER LOOKING OVER THE DETAILS YOU ARE PUBLISING ABOUT MY PERSON, YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK YOURSELF, ONCE, TWICE AND AGAIN. BECAUSE ITS B.S. AND HOW DARE YOU STATE I HAVE OME CHARITY MEDICAID, ETC. IN ADDITION, QMB PATIENTS ARE EXEMPT FOR BEING BILLED ANY MEDICAL COSTS. THIS IS NOT ONLY A LAW BUT ALSO A WELL KNOWN POLICY. SO IF YOU ARE EXPECTING THE $64.62 THINK AGAIN.
MAYBE IF YOU GOT ALL THE DETAILS AND DO YOUR JOB CORRECTLY, THEN MAYBE ALL BALANCES WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE GOOD. I DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THIS ISSUE WITH ANY OTHER MEDICAL COSTS AND PAYMENTS AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED INSURANCE WISE IN OVER 3 YEARS AND YOU'RE TRYING TO BILL ME FOR AN OCT 15, 2015 PROCEDURE? REALLY......

On Christmas Eve, two months after treatment at Nashville Skin and Cancer, I got an unexpected bill wanting $172 for a biopsy! Thanks Pathology Associates of St. Thomas for spoiling my Christmas. I went to the dermatologist on a VA referral. There's not supposed to be a lab charge. They doctor never mentioned such a charge. I'm not paying this.

received a bill on may 5 and paid it right away. found out the insurance also paid the bill.
figured a mistake and would get my funds back. forget it unless you have countless hours and the help of your insurance company .
this place and the doctors who use it are the worst that I have seen in my seventy some years of living.

I received a statement via mail and checked on line. The account number on the mail statement brought up the on-line e-statement showing have a zero balance -- this time noticed the account# has the 1st three numbers different. Checked again as third statement and it does show that the amount is owed on my insurance EOB.

This is horrible as my credit will be affected because of their repeated mistakes!

Even after sending copy of my check showing they cashed the check they would not post to my account. Each call is 20-30 minutes on hold. I got hung up on twice after very long hold. They gave me an email to send in cleared check and a send to that email only got returned to me as invalid. Only gave them a 1 because could not enter lower...

I tried to pay my bill on line and there is a problem with your format. I entered everything and it accepted everything, then showed different amounts and payments for which are not on my bill. Obviously, I'm not the only one with problems in your site or your company. I went back into it and now site will not allow me to input the account number. Please fix your site or your help methods. I was billed for an amount that had been paid in full long before by the insurance company. One quick call from my company's benefits manager solved the problem. But if I hadn't thought to check, we would have double-paid. Many people probably do. This is inexcusable.

we called numerous times to reclaim our funds ,even the insurance called , no matter who you talk to the answer 2 more weeks or they are waiting for payment from the insurance.
can anyone help me reclaim our funds we are in our 70's and this practice is getting more common with everyone we deal with .

Hi James, I am experiencing a similar situation, only I have 3 dates of service involved in which I have paid a portion and my insurance re-adjusted what they had paid. Trying to get them to give me credit is next to impossible. My issue has been going on for over 5 months now. Have you gotten a resolution yet?

I was billed for what was paid by insurance. I should never have been billed but did not know this so I began making monthly payments before my insurance company told me I had been billed inappropriately. I contacted Peryourhealth for the 5th time today. I have been told "the check is in the mail" on previous calls. Today I spoke with Dana who placed me on hold (first time this has happened) and when she came back on the line she reported she had physically laid eyes on the check and it was being placed in an envelope for mailing as we spoke. (if I don't get the check I will write another review!!!) BUT, today I want to give recognition to Dana who (unlike all the others) actually provided excellent customer service. She went out of her way to get up, walk to that department and question about the payment. I thank you Dana and you should be recognized by this company for a job well done. You actually know what customer service is all about!! If there were more people like Dana your rating would be much higher.

It is unfortunate that I have to write a negative review about anybody or anything. Be that as it may, I have to write about "Presence Health", also known as McKesson Billing Service. The doctors at my hospital send all of their bills to McKesson, and then McKesson sends the bill to you, without the first names or phone numbers of the doctors.

Dealing with McKesson is a royal pain. You can't get any real information from the ladies who man the phone lines, and they say they have no ability to bargain. If you ask them for an itemized bill, they apparently won't send it (I'm still waiting for the itemized bill I asked for a month ago.) Asking them for *any* information will get you the response, "Sorry, our portal is down." When you ask them when their "portal" will be back up, they'll *invariably* tell you, "Oh, next week." When I tried "next week", I got the same answer. When I asked how long their "portal" has been down, they'll give answers varying from a few days to a week. I couldn't even pay my bill because their "portal is down." That is complete nonsense. I worked in data processing for years, and I know that no company would ever tolerate such behavior. But McKesson obviously thinks they can abuse their customers, which is why they treat their customers the way they do.

When I actually tried to confront one of the phone representatives, she broke down and said, "Look, we're just a bunch of 50 year old ladies here." I can't remember now exactly how I responded, but what I should have said was, "Hey, that is not *my* problem! I'm the one who's paying the bills." It would not have done any good. Arguing with these reps is an exercise in futility. All they do is say the same thing over and over again.

I'm not the most patient man in the world. Insofar as it is possible, I am switching hospitals and doctors. Maybe that will get the message across.

Talked to someone named "Daisy" who was rude and ignorant. Kept interrupting, wouldn't let me explain and most of all violated HIPPA by not even verifying who I was and giving me info on patient . Wish if you even care, the call was monitored and someone would listen to conversation. It was made yesterday, 05/26 in the afternoon.

I just got a bill from these people saying I owed $1500 for a procedure that I had almost a year and a half ago!

My insurance approved the procedure so there is no reason why I should be billed for this.

Either it's a scam or completely wrong.

Obviously, I won't be paying a bill like this but now have to contact the insurance company to find out why I would get billed.
