I ordered a skylight and paid for it immediately ($850) using PayPal. They have had my funds for 5 months, I have contacted them 16 times and contacted Velux 5 times. Now the phones are disconnected! I am hopeful that I can get this resolved through PayPal.

Steve speaks truth. Nothing but lies and delays. Took my money and never sent the skylights! I lost hundreds in labor costs waiting on bogus info.

By far the worst online company that I have ever used. Same answer every time you call, "we will contact you in 1-2 days by email" still waiting. Had to call credit card to stop payment. Do not use!

I contacted these guys before ordering to find out how long would it take to get the skylight delivered. They said typically 6 working days (3 for processing and 3 for shipping). After 2 weeks and several calls to customer service they now tell me they will ship it in about another week. Even if they did this means that the order will take almost one month from ordering to receiving. Instead of the one week it takes on the usual retailers and what they said it would take. I can not recommend this website

Horrible company! They will charge you immediately for a skylight they have no intentions of delivering. Many lies about the Velux factory being behind schedule. The worst part is that they won't just tell you if they screwed up so you can make other plans. Go to a lumber yard, and they will order anything you want. The company sounds like it is just a husband and wife operation, not sure.

More than 8 weeks since skylight order was placed and no shipment details issued until I filed complaints with both BBB and the federal trade commission (FTC).
Add a commentThe person in charge of this business only needs to contact Velux and place the order. I placed the order on the 30th of July and he did not call Velux until the 21st of September. That was done after I reviewed his business badly both in Google and Facebook and sent a complaint to FTC.
Not sure why this person tells you he is working on the order and does not call Velux, but you can see he has done it repeatedly (9 complaints on BBB for solar lighting of Virginia). What is really disturbing is that he makes you believe he is working on it until you get so mad that you cancel the order and ask for a refund which is what he is trying to make you do.
So he actually sent you a skylight, 5 months and I'm still trying to get a refund or a skylight!
