I bought a Pioneer split unit for 301.62 it was advertised as a full set - appears new, I went to pick it up and there was only one box (inside unit) the manager came, read the posting and yep thats a full set that was sold let me go find the other box, I took the one box to the car, went back in and waited. Manager returned and said thats the only box then refused to refund my purchase because according to him once it leaves the building no refunds. I contacted support and they basically said tough luck. I wont be bidding there any more. What a ripoff!!!!

I bought a pallet and opened the boxes. And everything was broken on the pallet. They willingly known that they Put broken stuff on a pallet and resolved it. I communicated with them and they did not want to make it right. Very dishonest

They want to sell things open box, you should be able to see items before bidding.

I have the same issue. I spent $120.00 on a pallet that I could see a Shark cordless vacuum that I wanted. When I went to pick it up everything was missing parts or were only parts and pieces of a mixture of junk. The Shark vacuum didn’t have a charger to it. There was a lot of envelopes and files. The file cabinet was in terrible shape I left it there a long with a table that was beyond repair. There were 4 boxes of crushed oddball sizes of 3M furnace filters. Most everything was parts of this and that a dog bed that had a huge hole in it. It looked like they through whatever junk they had laying around on that pallet and put the Shark box and a table out where you could see it in the picture but everything was crap.
When I asked the gentleman that took me to the pallet if they always sold this kind of crap in the pallet sales he laughed and said “YES”

I have been bidding for a while now, and have had several issues with them. I had the highest bid on a certain item 1 day, and I was bidding with ( it said 1 other ) so I guess they knew the person or must have been paid by person because the ended the auction on me 3 hours early, and gave it to the other bidder not the highest bid. I reached out for them to tell me I'm a lier and regardless of proof I'm a lier WELL ALRIGHTY THEN. second issue is similar because I was again the highest bidder but when the auction actually ended this time they gave the item yet again to the person behind me on the bids... wow seems like continuous problem that will not stop. Again I reached out for them to tell me basically go else where which I am after this. The other issues I have is get this incase you don't know.... THEY ALLOW THE ORIGINAL OWNERS THATS SELLING TO BID YOU UP TO CLOSE TO VALUE.... wow can you say rip off, dishonest, and please go somewhere else. I am closing my account for online and in person to Bargain Hunt. I now know that my HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS spent here is not in my beat interest, or is appreciated in anyway.. good luck everyone, and God bless!!!

I purchased several items and never had any problems. As time went on and people came to understand how things worked they figured out how to find unpurchased items and just walk
out the door with them. Laundry soap will ALWAYS be missing as well as any high priced electronics. Also good luck on getting a refund on any missing items.

We bought 4 pallets. One pallet was described as “resellers paradise”
All of the pallets were from Asurion Protection Plan. They are all items that were returned to the warranty company because they do not work. 4 pallets of complete junk!
One extra box was described as all new items, all that was included was a few things that looked to be from DollarTree.
Never, ever buy anything from this company. Total 100% junk!
I would give it a zero star review if I could.

First and last purchase made on a metal trash can that was so damaged it wouldn’t sit level nor would the swivel lid fit. It was basically collapsed and they refused to take responsibility. It was not a sale able item. The 1 photo did not show the damage - not even close. Not worth the hassle. Canceled subscription.

Over $300 spent on total garbage. All marked "open box" or "appears new"
This was from the Louisville location on Shepherdsville Rd.
Totally misrepresented. It isn't an accident. There are too many reviews with a 1 star rating, all with the same issues. How are they still in business??

I have purchased a number of items with most acceptable. Yesterday I picked up what was advertised as a queen mattress complete with sheets, pillows and mattress pad. It was noted as appears new. Of course it was vacuumed sealed and I did not open it at the warehouse. Why would I? When I got it to its destination it tuned out to be a single bed mattress and nothing else. They are unwilling to do anything.

Beware. Items used listed as appears new. Broken items are not easily refunded. No refund if you cant make pickup date. be prepared to stand in line in the rain or snow for an hour and a half. Very unethical business practices. literally no customer service other than pulling your mashed packages from warehouse.

Bought an appears new item. In the small print is was said to be incomplete. I won the item and saw prior to checkout that it was incomplete. I asked for a refund due to critical parts were missing, I could not verify that the item worked due to missing parts and the item was incomplete not appears new. I received a refund from administration but endured multiple lessons from the facility staff as to why I would not get a refund. BEWARE. This is not my first experience in something being listed incorrectly to get the higher bids. There site lists how they grade items and they do not always use it as stated. Read all fine print, communicate with their customer service help line and complain when it is not right. They will gladly take your money if you let them. They are supposed to be a licensed auction site governed by the State but I do no think they follow the rules that protect the customer from fraud. They are very unwilling to correct their mistake and to unfairly take advantage of yours.

Buyer beware!!! If you can’t preview don’t even think about bidding. These people will con you if they can. They sell incomplete and broken junk under the disclaimer “open box”. Yeah. Right. Took an open box and filled it with crap and waited to see what idiot would buy it. If they’ll do that they’ll do anything. I bought a “reseller’s dream” pallet that was clearly a pile of broken junk returned and placed on a pallet that was wrapped and sold. I’m taking them to small claims court. Won’t win but happy to make them show up.

So far, I've gotten 3 things that were marked as "Brand New" and when I got them home and opened them, found out that was NOT the case and the items were either incomplete or broken. They sell JUNK! If I could give them less than 1 star I would!

Ditto that. I bid on a single item auction that consisted of a pallet 6x6x8 wrapped up tight in clear wrapping. Inside boxes with no description. Impossible to preview. It was labeled “resellers dream”. Not a single item could be resold. Pieces of cheap furniture missing arms and backs. Not a single complete piece. Don’t buy this junk. Might as well have been bags of dog poop. Worthless and expensive to move only to toss all in the trash

Buyer beware I used this site many years ago in 2014 it wasn’t so bad so fast forward to 2020 I thought I’ll use them again because I bought my first home and needed decent furniture at decent prices, boy was I wrong they’ve gone down hill listing items as open box when they know it’s incomplete and some of the items were not even what it was supposed to be! Well your supposed to check the items blah blah blah well they’ll all in boxes come on!!!(I don’t have x-ray vision) It’s like Vegas they said you win some you lose some, well at least in Vegas you know what game your playing! I would only buy items that say brand new or appears new and always pay attention to the description! Im from the Cincinnati Ohio area please stay away from the Amelia Ohio location they are horrible one of my items wasn’t ready for pick up on the designated pick up time I had to drive out 2 times! They are very rude and unhelpful! I would try my luck with Amazon Warehouse Deals or anything else besides this place! It’s a shame they get away with this but they got a great hustle!!! I used to really like this place but no way!!! Not worth the hassle!!!

I have had great experiences with both the Elizabethtown and Cincinnati locations. I know what I am getting into when I bid and go in cautiously. However, with that being said the only things I have gotten that were not all there or broke were the items I neglected to check the full description on. One of those things I was able to call the manufacturer and told them the situation and they were cool enough to send replacements for free even. I paid a very small price for all that I didn't read fully and that was my fault to not completely check. Love this place. No I do not work there. As for the people, I have always had great interaction with them all. I am a people person so Idk if that is why but they have all been very courteous and willing to help. It is at your own risk. Things I have gotten that are new and these came from the appears new and the open were: fireplace that was 359 on amazon, 88.67 on here - perfect! dry erase boards, shelving units, bed platforms, coolers.... the only thing that I got that was broke when it said open box was a lamp. The others that were cracked or what have you were in description and I neglected to look. :)

Went to FTA to pick up a very inexpensive item. It was lost. Looked for by me and 2 seperate employees. Notified the checkout person of the lost item and told him (happened to be the store manager) that I was going out of town on Friday and returning 11/15. They had 2 days to find the item or would have to come back after the 15th. His statement was that I had better hope they did not find it. Well they did and want it picked up within 4 business days or it is forfeited. Multiple emails back and forth with several different people each unaware of previous answers to me. Finally got my $2 refund. It was the principle. Getting harder to justify buying from these auctions. Items not correctly graded as appears new or damaged and denied access to item to preview. All say this business is struggling. BEWARE.

Not everything is broke. it does state the condition and to come view items on viewing day. I never buy open box items, only "appears new". ive got a lot of decent things from there. A keurig was a bust but I paid pennies for it and I know my risk.

only reason they show catalog picture is because they are not going to put together everything to take a picture of it. If it is clearly damaged they list it as so and take a picture of the damage they've noticed

I was recently denied inspection prior to bid on an open box item. I was told the item was not out of the skid due to the number of auctions coming in from the warehouse and I could not see the item even though it was selling in 3 hours. The item was damaged and to use it will have to have a part ordered. Not the FTA of past. Used to be well run, customer service was great. Slow decline over the past few years.

That is not true. I just purchased several items at the end of December. All items were marked "open box" or "appears new" I spent over $300 and everything was extremely damaged, missing major parts and total garbage. This was from the Shepherdsville Rd location in Louisville. And to top it off, the owner was just as rude as she could be. Lesson learned. Never again.
