I received a $3500.00 gift card upon my retirement in November 2022. I did not realize the card expired in one year. During my first year of retirement my husband developed serious health issues and we both had a bad bout with COVID. The last thing on my mind was my gift card.
We are both blessed again with good health and are ready to use my gift card for a special trip. Not going to happen because Omni Card/Blackhawk whatever they go by has been unreasonable about reissuing or reloading the card. I am willing to pay a reissue fee and shipping to get this card back.
My employer purchased this card in good faith and Omni Card has basically stolen these funds.
CAUTION DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Don’t save the card or collect them for something special. Spend them immediately if you can get them to work. Worst card ever. Omnicard will take all your money given to you as a gift as soon as the one years expiration is up.

I can't get my balance from the website and had a very hard time trying to get it activated on the web site also. I hope there is something on the card in case I try to use it A gift card, more like a April Fools gift.

The card worked at two of eight merchants where I attempted to use it. When I had not used the entire balance within 30 days, Omnicard started charging a $3.95 monthly service fee.

I received the *gift card* and proceeded with the instructions to activate same.
I double checked (after I activated card) and found 00.00 =no credit to the card.
I did this 3 times. such a wonderful card, and no physical person to talk to.
thanks for the non-gift.

I was provided one by eSecuritel as a cell phone insurance settlement. I attempted to use it at an AT&T Store to replace a stolen phone, and payment was rejected. I was told by customer service to wait form 6 days to 2 weeks for the cancelled transaction to release funds back to the card. After 10 days, the card no longer showed a zero balance, and I again presented the card to AT&T as partial payment for a replacement phone. Again the transaction was rejected by OmniCard because it was used in conjunction with another card for payment of the full balance due, and again the card was frozen with a zero balance.
